About Ish
Born Perth-ian Ish missed roller derby sign ups one fateful day in 2012 and instead taught themself to skate. By the time next try outs rolled around Ish had developed a unique and boisterous skating style that was not well suited for the track. Meanwhile Ish was becoming a champion brewer (black coffee maker) and coffee taster. Competing at a national level, and traveling the world where coffee grows.
After a bang crash at the skate park that resulted in a broken leg, Ish spent their "Bart Simpson summer" obsessing over how to do a backflip in skates. After seeing a Fringe show that included roller skating, Ish set out to find a school to teach them circus things. Sprinkle in a bit of all-or-nothing thinking and Ish left their coffee life behind faster than you can say "wheelie good." They still don't know how to do a backflip, but they have buckets of sexy/stupid and are here to warm your little gay heart.
